Making a pact with a spirit you can't see

So I was wondering if it was possible to make a pact with an entity that you call forth and is present,but you can’t see or here them.Just internal dialogue.
Would it be better to wait untill I can see spirits?

I would wait until you can communicate better before getting into pacts, unless the pact is for opening up your senses.

Actually I was debating between Belial or Sastan.
