So, confession,. I Jezebelle, am a book-aholic 🤷
Most of my life since childhood has been spent with my nose in a book. Don’t ask me how many I have cuz I don’t know. Definitely close to 150 or so I think…idk.
Anyway, a few months ago I was thinking about an experience with a particular entity, I felt like something was missing. There was a part of a lesson that I couldn’t put my finger on. And no shit, one of my books yelled at me. Psychically speaking. I get lost in non-verbal amorphous thought on things a lot, blank out a bit. Usually when that happens I get a “download” of images, feelings, and I just…know something without words. This time I had a book yelling “over here! Read me again! Read me again”
So I picked it up, opened to the table of contents, looked at the ceiling and moved my finger across the page until I knew it was time to stop. I flipped to that chapter and did the same basic process to find the right page, and there was a piece of the puzzle that gave me the answer.
It wasn’t the answer, but what was written there was a piece of the puzzle that made what pieces I had make more sense and form an overarching picture.
Since then this keeps happening. If I’m thinking about an ingredient in a spell or an entity or just general life questions about people or blah blah, one of my books will yell at me.
So now every book in my personal library is a divination tool, book of spells, grimoires, and entertainment all in one.
I have started calling this Libomancy cuz…🤷 Sounds good to me. Give it a shot yourself if you are a bookworm like me.
I kinda do the same thing. Only I don’t hear my books yet. Which makes sense as I still second guess my intuition all the damn time🤦 im pretty sure my higherself and guides constantly facepalm themselves over me.
Also I love when puzzle pieces start to fall together! It makes it such an adventure
And Thank you again for sharing your method! I’m going to be practicing it as well from now on.
Oh by the way, I too am a fellow book aholic…the majority of mine are on pdf though…which is good because I dont have enough house to hold them all. I just need to read them all now. I’m bad about that. 🤦
Can’t do that with divination !
I feel ya on the space issue. I’m looking forward to having a bookshelf so I can better organize everything. Most of my books are stacked in my closet. Luckily it’s a big closet.
I’m definitely learning that about intuition lmao:sweat_smile:
And I feel you on shelf space…right now I have my physical book’s stuffed in cabinets. The pains of living in a small two bedroom house with 2 adults and 2 kids and a cat. No room for anything after clothes and toys
My spirit guide put 2 books in my path when I was walking home, I’ve yet to read them because I’m working on reading another one, but I’m excited for the messages it has in there
no. that’s western version of i ching base on philosophy. Not divination classical method. the coins make 2 hexagram and each hexagram have a line that is interpreted. 6 line total. And to interpret the lines , one have to learn bazi or chinese astrology. It also incorporate the day and month animals. It’s a little more complicated then throw coins and refer to book of hexagram.
