The question in the OP is, if I read it right -
"This is what happened in ritual: Did I contact Belial?".

It sounds in-character from my experience with Belial. Supportive in a tough love, “up and at 'em” sort of way.
A common way to verify the identity of an entity is to ask it to flash it’s sigil in your mind. But for me the most reliable way is by the energy signature - no two entities feel quite the same. It’s harder with humans as the emotional overlay can be very “loud”, as it were, but with entities it usually comes through quite purely. Over time you can recognize the presence.
A great way to develop subtle recognition in the sense of presence is the cafe people-watching exercise - I heard of this first from Lyn Buchannan (who helped develop Remote Viewing as a reliable tool in the Stargate Program). When you can do this with humans you can do it with anything imo.

I agree that you have listed none of the usual red flags for a parasite, and generally I would say to so with your intuition, which is saying you got contact, and that it was useful.
Interpreting flashes of vision is similar to dreamwork, where you figure out what the symbolism means to you. Your use of the symbols might vary, but generally… crows (and ravens, the largest kind of crow, but also blackbirds) are considered intelligent and resourceful, they are revered in both Native American and other shamanic cultures as spiritual helpers of man. They are associated with Odin representing Thought and Wisdom, and accompany Hecate and The Morrigan.
The direction and speed implies (to me) that you are working at a fast pace towards wisdom and the development of your senses, as you design. This is coming from your subconscious but could be a message from Belial as that is the context and purpose of the meditation. So he’s saying - good work, keep it up, keep going and fly!
