“The book of smokeless fire” would be one, although not necessarily beginner-friendly

We have a thread with a good list that came out of the discussion:
I don’t recommend Book of Smokeless fore for a beginner, the entities themselves are the same ones in The Book of Deadly Names and need you to be able to handle them, as they will either not do the work or hurt you if they can. This much is said in the book.
There are human friendly Djinn however, just not those ones.
Try Practical Djinn Magick by Corwin Hargrove.
But if you search amazon for “djinn magick” and read the reviews you might find something you prefer that way, there are many there no one here has talked about, and that’s no disparagement of them, it’s just not a hugely popular current on this forum.
