Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Galilee not Judea.

Interesting read. It does make more sense that it would be the Galileean and not the Judean Bethlehem.

I didn’t know that was debated! The Bible always associated Jesus with Galilee. As far as I know, Judas (who may or may not have existed) was the only Judean.

That’s what I was thinking when I clicked on this. I always knew him as being from Galilee.

But History Says Jesus was born in Judea province not Galilee province.
Christians made Bethelem of Judea Province to show that Jesus came from King David Bloodline.
