can’t find the source currently but I’d read before that they tested pages/ink and they were written over decades by different people.
either way, it’s a super dope book.
All of the shows based on the Cursed Book a.k.a. The Codex Gigas is all hype. Even the supposed tale of the scribe gone insane and possessed is not documented during his lifetime nor closely thereafter. The only reason it is documented at all for being a cursed Biblical tome is because the scribe went over the top on the images in the book itself for its time in history.
How better to advertise a show than to hype up the tale? It is like every episode of Ancient Aliens.
