I’d say Astrology is one of the options that’s has a somewhat consistent system that can help you navigate through your magickal practices but it’s not the end of the world and if you decide to ignore it you can still practice whatever you’re doing.
Astrology it’s not always necessary but it can be necessary if you want it or you feel obliged to.
I, for example, decided to follow Astrology because their system helps me reinforce my magick with it’s pathways and rules but that’s my case.
