I frequently have trouble getting the fragment of light started and spread throughout the room. Today it occurred to me that I have that essence in the core of my being. I reached into a depth within myself that I could not see, pinched between my astral thumb and finger, and brought my hand out. I put it in the air in front of me, and when I took my hand away, I felt a blinding light, like staring at a sparkler.
I basked in the light, feeling it pass through me and burn away impurities. Several times I inhaled it, held my breath and pressed the light into my cells and extremities, and then exhaled the black ash of burned away impurities.
When I was done, I put that bright little light back where I had found it, and then felt the need to use the elements to finish the job: engulfing flames to burn away the last little bit, wind to extinguish and blow away the ash, water to dissolve the soot, and Earth to repair holes in me that were left. (I dunno what that was about.)
