Heyo everyone, I’ve been off and on here mainly searching through posts, but yeah I’m here to learn about different spiritual practices and ways to use my own energy and or resources to help myself become more in terms of spiritual power and enhancement of myself! Well I’m from the states, currently in Texas, I have lots of knowledge in terms of psi and some magick practices lot of it is theory though, as I have not tried a lot of them, but yeah! Pretty much for the past 2-3 years now I’ve been trying it out, and in terms of systems and traditions not really I just try anything that seems remotely useful! And interests I’d say are things like energy work and a lot of misc magical practices such as chaos magick and the works not really picky in those terms lol

I’d suggest learning the mirror shield and other ward techniques first. These will keep you safe while you explore what you’re into.
Just search it up and you’re bound to find the tutorial thread.
What kind of Magick do you wanna try out?

Heyo bliss, not really sure on the magicks I’d like to try yet, there’s lots of different systems and I’m probably gonna make a list of some for me to use that would benefit what I do in energy works and psionics, for ex: learning from spirits on said subjects and or just learning the basic concepts of those systems and see what i can do with them! Nice to meet you as well though!

Well there’s a ton of systems but remember:
System ≠ Belief
A lot of us here practice a mixing pot of different things.
Mulberry, one of our mods, does a mix of Nordic and Celtic Magick plus Quigong for example (only stating what’s in her bio because I know she’d much sooner speak for herself).
I do mainly Hindu meditation with demonic invocation/evocation alongside angelic mantra work.
I am Left Handed which means I’m my own individual as a whole and don’t follow some dogmatic leaders’ teaching.
I’m non-religious but a heavy practitioner. A lot of it boils down to philosophy in which I follow the main Thelema principle Do as thou wilt, Left Handed individualism, while being mainly centered around the symbolism of Baphomet of balance in the universe.
So I call myself a Baphometric because that is mainly what I represent in my work, however I practice other types of Magick.
Only limiting yourself to one system out of another person’s rule book is fully indoctrinated so you can really pick and choose what you like freely

Also about achieving your goals (if I’m reading the purpose right):
Magick literally is energy manipulation so really any of what you do is considered energy work in a way.
Working with spirits, namely for knowledge, is perfectly doable in many ways.
I use a host of spirits called ”The Goëtia” which details 72 spirits and their purposes.
2 spirits that I know off the top of my head that are great for knowledge are Asmodeus and Glasya-Labolas as a general way of learning. There are other spirits that teach very specific things like Astronomy, Sciences, Arts, Rhetoric, Herbology etc etc.
