Sadly the experiences can range from exciting to exhausting.

It’s emotional intention setting whilst falling asleep. Trauma is sadly the easiest but high vibrational states can happen to. Usually I haven’t gotten to higher realms without the assistance of altering ones mind. But if I’m in sleep paralysis the low vibrational routine works easiest as the more “scared” I am the easier it is to step through.
This is where the protecting of one’s self becomes challenging, the more fear you channel the more real the experience and the easier it is to get trapped there, but also the more of an “alarm” I guess you sound because a lot of parasitic entities are attracted to it. (It’s how I also call predatory things, just channel fear but be able to turn it off)
But the first step of defending one’s self is conquering the fear emotion and exercising power through the next best emotion. I find calm confident spite to work better than anger as sometimes anger empowers them to. If you kill the fear too fast though sometimes it can have the opposite effect for me and lift me out of the realm or inadvertently cause me to “come back” until I learned to control or balance my presence of Awareness. Really weird stuff. Third eye meditation helps a lot. Not at first but with practice you become familiar with “muscle memory”.
Honestly even after experiencing all this I continuously feel that the only thing I TRULY know is nothing at all. The universe continues to shatter my perception with each new experience and each time something new happens it reminds me how big it all is and that this may just be the start of a multi level universe based on frequency and vibration.
