Especially in ceremonial/planetary magick. Even though Mercury’s my planet, I feel like I don’t have the qualities I’m astrologically supposed to (especially with autism). So, I’m hoping he can aid in developing those qualities among other things.
Any advice or experiences you can share?
I’m ruled by Mercury as well, so of course it could be useful for you to know the correspondences to Mercury (Hermes, Archangel Raphael, Olympian spirit Ophiel, Tuesdays, the planetary hour of Mercury, etc).
I noticed a pattern where a lot of people with difficulties in communication could have either Mercury retrograde or other planets (aspecting Mercury) in their birth charts in retrograde. Is this your case? Knowing your chart will help you know how to approach whatever aspect of yourself that you want.
If your natal Mercury is retrograde, any rituals you do to improve your mind and communication will be stronger if made during Mercury retrograde transits.
Also keep in mind Mercury is also related to commerce and theft, and it’s generally represented by tricksters in ancient mythologies. This could also help you narrow down other spirits you can call to assist you.
I consider the trickster aspect to be important. Misinformation and misdirection is part of communication. Best way to fight a trickster is to know how to be one.
