i feel like this is a newbie question but i wanted to give food offerings to azazel and halah’thor.
my question was do i just put the plate on top of their sigil or do i charge the sigil first and then put the plate offering.
furthermore, does the same procedure apply when i want to give them an offering of arts, poems and even if i wanted to sing them a song. how would i go ab it?
i haven’t done shit in over a yr and lowkey forgot since i’m finally getting back into it and i want to do it properly so how do YOU give offerings or how do YOU SUGGEST i give it?.
It is not necessary to use the seal. It is usually sufficient to simply declare that the offering is for the specific spirit, and then leave it on the altar or table. The spirit will know it’s for them, and by declaring it, other random spirits who might want to swoop in and feed off it will also know who it’s for.
If you want to use the seal, then I don’t think it really matters if it is open or not, but opening it first will likely elicit a quicker response.
Generally, intent is what calls the spirit. If you intend to sing to one, the energy of that intention will be carried in the song and they will feel it. @anon39079500 sings to his goddesses every day, and they routinely show up for it without him having to specifically summon them.

so sweet n reassuring. lilith’s energy is so intense n overwhelming in a good way. i feel so much comfort and serenity and often get emotional when i feel acknowledged by her presence. she has become a mother figure to me since.
This is correct. Sometimes there are occasions where someone (they “works” for them) comes to collect the offering. Sometimes they come strongly, sometimes I feel part of their presence only. But this also depends on how open I am that day, at that time.
I don’t partake in the chakra theories, so I can’t speak to that.
I did used to do psychic exercises when I was growing up, but that was back in the 80’s and 90’s. But when I did them, I focused on sensing things with my clairs. I wasn’t very disciplined about it and practiced in spurts, tbh.
Ok that’s perfect. I was just wondering in general. When you make contact with any deities or demons do you mainly converse and feel them via their energy or have you had instances where they have spoken to you or otherwise seen them? How do you daily communicate with them?

I don’t really have an altar space, I have dedicated pages to Lucifer in my BoS, and add stuff there. I mostly dedicate art and poems to him, there’s some dried rose petals there too.
What I do is charge the offering, because whenever I think “this is an offering to [name]” I feel an overwhelming happiness and love in my heart before I even begin, so much that I have to ground myself first because my hands start shaking sometimes!
All the above. Some entities don’t speak to me and send impressions and pictures. Most speak in some manner, but I’m aware that the conversation is being translated by my senses. There are few times where they wanted something worded a specific way. You can read any of my journal entries to get an idea, if you’re interested.
