How many times do you repeat a sigil that didn't work?

Quoting Damon Brand (more or less) ‘when a magick didn’t work, you do it again’.

How many times do you repeat a sigil that didn’t work? and I’m not looking for an specific number like 4,267.5 times  Just the philosophy behind Chaos sigilization technique:

Intention->sigilization->gnosis->forget->no-manifestation. Now what? Repeat or not repeat? :grinning:

With sigilization, you don’t repeat the same sigil. Instead, you would adjust your statement of intent, make a new glyph and fire that one off.

The key to making sigils work is forgetting all about them so it can be difficult to judge whether an intent failed or not because it could still manifest as soon as you give up on it.

Yeah, this is like a chaotic paradox  If you are aware that the sigil didn’t work, it means you didn’t forget it enough  and if you forget it enough, how in earth do you know that it didn’t work?

So no repetition. Intention adjustment and brand new sigil. Got it. :grinning:
