There is nothing that says you have to 
You can practice as much or as little as you want.

I’m not sure there are many people who wake up one day and having no experience with magick begin to practice daily. We all start somewhere. Somedays I don’t have the intention of practicing much and somedays I just sleep all day and then go to work. The more serious you get though, the more often you practice. Magick a lifestyle (choice) for a lot of us.

That makes sense. I am taking a bit of a break from it all for a bit. The day job is pretty time consuming.
