If I work with roots and oils like Hot Foot, Road Opener or High John in a respectful and heartfelt manner - but in the vein of my practices in folk magic from a different path - is that disrespectful or a bad idea? I keep finding that these type of herbs and oils are instinctively calling me or catching my attention.
Nope. Such things are part of many different paths, not just Hoodoo.
