If it’s only 25% alcohol it won’t hit the 60% needed for anti-viral effects, but should be good for other uses. :+1:

  • Reminder to all that mixing cleaning fluids can be dangerous, for example never mix bleach with vinegar or ammonia. Always check information and do research before improvising.

I did say it was pH-neutral. I doubt anyone wants to pay to restore much less replace surfaces like marble.

Found a nifty chart that shows 70/30 to 50/50. Obviously, if you want to hit that 60% ratio, you’ll want to adjust the measurements by 10%.

Yep! The consensus among researchers is to aim for 70% alcohol, that way even if you vary a little you’ll still have enough alcohol to kill viruses. Interestingly, 70% ethanol works better than 100% - water is required for the denaturing process.
