@shinri to clarify somewhat, I need to take psychology as a subject because I have to, not because I want to even though it’s quite interesting. I’ve said before that I don’t really want to get personal, but in this case it’s relevance outweighs privacy.
I live in the UK on an ancestral visa and due to my financial and legal restrictions(due to the visa) my situation is very complicated, so much so that I won’t elaborate on them. “Oncological drug reasearcher” is my ultimate goal, developing new treatment methods and pharmaceutical drugs and stuff. And I’m no douchebag or engineer, I’m very much an introverted, neutral, passive person.
@Faustus & @shinri I’ve read many topics today and have come across yours and lux_Tunebris’ posts a couple of times, and I see that in comparison alot of beginners know close to nothing, to which I am not even a beginner. I apologise if I came off as arrogant or smarter than I am, I see that I’m quite under qualified to have started this thread.I will research the authors that faustus has mentioned. If you want the practical approach and don’t care for history. Check out galleryofmagick books and their site. They did the research and got rid of the fluff for practical modern use. As well as safety precautions for casting magick of goetia. No point doing research when others trustworthy magick authors have done it already if you were concern about safety.
I just really wanted to know more people’s experiences, I could say almost for selfish/foolish reasons before pursuing the goetia. This thread can be great for collecting possibly unknown, interesting knowledge on goetic demons and possible historical connections in literature.
People’s experience may not be true. What they perceive may be different from what they explain. It may or may not be real. Stop living vicariously. Life is about experiencing. There really is no point learning about other’s if you aren’t going to be doing. It’s like watching a drama show. it’s all for entertainment.
Let’s put it this way as analogy. You are wanting to watch a porn show to see what’s up instead of having the real sex or making love for real. It’s like saying. I don’t want to love . I want to see couples happy loving each other.
If you think I’m being a pushy ass, it’s because you wanted to experience the power the Goetia can grant you. I won’t claim to speak for them, but I have opened the gates to many of these demons within myself, and having done so I can tap into their energy when I want to do so.
I don’t need you to elaborate, I need you to do some research to figure out how you can attend a university as an ancestral visa holder. Many universities have a good-sized population of international students studying abroad with a visa. This is very common. If you are having difficulties finding information online, try emailing the admissions department of some universities you are interested in. They should be able to provide you with more information, and can also get you in touch with the financial aid department people, who should be able to tell you more about financial aid opportunities for people in your situation.
You are perfectly qualified to ask your questions. No-one is unqualified to ask questions. The whole point of asking questions is to gain knowledge, and if anyone tries to make you feel bad for trying to learn, they can go fuck themselves.
Also, if you are more interested in drug research, then you may be more suited to a Ph.D. than a medical degree. MDs practice medicine, while Ph.D.'s are research scientists. To get a Ph.D. in, for example, biochemistry (with your research focusing on oncological drug research), then you first need a bachelor’s in chemistry, and from there you can apply to Ph.D. programs. You will need to find a way to pay for your bachelor’s degree (there are more options than you may think if you can open your mind to the possibilities), but you will be paid to go to graduate school to earn a Ph.D., so you don’t need to worry about the money for that.
You absolutely have to take the initiative and start getting these things moving yourself if you want to make your desires a reality. No-one is going to do this for you. If you pick up one of the books I already mentioned in my earlier post and start actually summoning the demons, they will help you get what you need to move forward with your goals. They will also light a fire under your ass so you actually get it done.
And there’s nothing wrong with being an engineer or a pre-med student. I was just implying that I have reasons to not really want to help you because many such people in the past have treated me with a hilarious degree of disrespect after speaking like 6 words to them (which is amusing because I could deconstruct their entire copy-paste personality and explain it to them if I felt like it), but that I am doing so anyways to make you more likely to believe what I am saying.
To help you out. Make sure you choose a field that can make you money or make a living off. No one ever guided me and i had to learn the hard way. The field I choosen was great for spiritual growth and all ,however, fucking hard as hell to make money with as it’s not supportive due to society usa health structure. Sure people in my field can make money but they have backup support of rich folks and tons of people they know cuz they aren’t minority race. I would of chosen a similar path but one where I can weed through the red tape of society system structure. I could of chosen a field title that is more accepted with credibility yet help me do the same thing I want. For example. many people get psychology degree but they do hypnotherapy. they don’t do psychotherapy no more as they found out hypnotherapy get better resutls. The degree gives them credibility to not get lawsuit due to law.
I could of gotten a physical therapy degree and then i can do bodywork without all the red tape BS and sexism of massage business requirement that the law wants. It would been so easy to open shop if i went that route. Now it’s kinda too late to go back to college as i’m older and lost many opportunity due to time.
Some times the title open doors. So ponder on what field degree you want. Not all degree is the same. The field title matters in opening doors. Also since your in college. Make as many friends and network as possible from the get go cuz when your in the real world, it’s very hard to make friends and network. Get as many contacts and know people . Keep in touch as they are your bread and butter for the future. Don’t just study. Network your ass off by making real friends. Not saying being fake friends either just for benefits. Really make friends. don’t have to be deep for all people. They can be a connection for future best friends or startup company. YOu never know what link they will have in future. That’s what college is about. Connections. Not just studying to get degree.

I don’t have their books. I have the books of the Dragon Rouge of Karlsson, of Kenneth Grant, a commentary of the Liber Legis and other Thelemite texts etc. Now I’m moving on to practice.

Forgive my mistakes, but I know very little English and I help myself with a translator.
University fees are way more than they should be, even more so for a foreign student, so even if I could go to university right now I wouldn’t because of the costs. However, I’m legally classified as “dependent” until I gain citizenship in 4-5 years, so I’m required to be in full time education. I’ve researched many options, such as working through the NHS to get a bursary or studying in med school till I can go to university. Let’s just say it’s a tricky situation. Point is, money’s tight, options are few and complex.
I’m sorry that you’ve come across some unruly medical students, but I am imo a reasonable, morally bound, friendly fellow and only want to build good relations from here on out.

Don’t worry, sometimes I just like to complain on the internet in such a way that is potentially entertaining and at the very least allows me to do so with a bit of writerly flair cause it’s fun for me.
It sounds like you’re in a bit of a tough situation, and so I will just say one more time that I really, really suggest that you pick up one of the books I mentioned - they’re like $10 for the ebook (I’ve worked with Demons of Magick a good amount, and I’ve read through The Magick of Angels and Demons and can attest to the quality and simplicity of the rituals - the former is more complex, but with the latter all you need is 10 minutes and a piece of paper).
If you never do magick, nothing magickal will ever happen. Once you start integrating magick into your life, the rewards of magickal practice will begin to flow. There are many demons who can help with money and with influencing others to make decisions in your favor. Don’t expect a crazy ridiculous miracle, but if you do magick you can expect results. You can be guided to the pathway of least resistance to the life that you want to be living.

That is also the viewpoint in an edition of the Goetia by L.W. de Laurence, done for the Rosae Crucis organisation. Even though it is from a hermetic viewpoint(and my beliefs are hermetic) I don’t accept that they are completely mental in being, they are real. Your understanding of them, being your visual and auditory perception of them in an evocation, isn’t. It is merely a thoughtform that you can understand since you’re from this plane and they aren’t and this is done so that communication can be accomplished. Building temporary bridges to cross planes mentally through the mind of The All, if you will.

Your brain sends nerve signals with imagination. There’s a popular study where Olympic athletes visualize their race. Their nerves fired but without muscle contraction as if they were running their event. Imagination layed muscle memory and had a direct affect on their time.
Even if they were archetypes or imaginary they still have hold power and value.

They exist in our minds due to our minds reacting to the stimulus(incense, sigil) we give it, creating the right interactions for our minds to become a mental environment and embody them so that they can exist on our plane.
I’m not sure if I understand what you mean by appealing to the polarity principle though. If you’re talking about how you “created” them, I understand that they exist in this plane through your senses and your will, and to understand any further I’d have to know why the Demon said it in the first place(to what question he was answering).
Nevertheless, I’d appreciate some clarification on what you meant about appealing to the principle of polarity. And any other input you may have.

we create them to a point but they “exist” like energy/conscience/spirit/vibration/part of the all/manifestation of the source but when we interact with them we put them some of us

A2ft34 (objective) is an entity but in its natural form with an egregor mask A2ft34-EG (objective) but when we interact with it, it becomes A2ft34-EG-sf3, that “sf3” its our connection with that entity to a personal level and as you said here:

I think the same but mixing it with the beliefs of the user
For example when new occultists with the popular beliefs “demons are evil” or if they are satanist “angels are my enemy”
They are afraid and have bad results with them
They work with one of them and it finish like a self-fulfilling prophecy
We assume many beliefs and stuff to an entity and that entity became what we think and in our reality, maybe for that we see many upgs
It’s confusing so
all truths are but half truths every truth is half- false
Once I asked this and the answer was:
It’s not in my interests to enter in your understanding.
Because knowing the whole history is like having power over the entity I asked (besides something that I consider private), but it’s just an example of one and not all of them.
