Herbs and oils for Shamanism?

What are the basic herbs and oils for shamanism? Specifically Vitki or native american shamanism.

Or is what im thinking of totally wrong and is just herbalism?

There are none. They are tools. It’s like asking what’s a basic athame, when in fact, a knife is a knife.

Now, shamans use all sorts of plants. So what is your intention? Once that’s decided do research on magickal plants and move forward.

I’m sure that the native Americans use White sage, which is now very popular in western spiritual traditions. I have used sage from the beginnings of my spiritual journey.
