Hecate Road Opening Ritual

Been a whiiiile, decided to do a lil road opener with Hecate. Something kinda simple since i do in fact feel my roads are blocked and thought who better than the Goddess of the Crossroads herself. I wasn’t just gonna write about it in my BoS but I figured I’d make an entry here, because I turned my ceiling fan off for it since I didn’t want the flames going everywhere and the candles burning unevenly. After an hour or so I decided to snuff the candles for the night, turn my fan on and relight them tomorrow because it’s way too hot. Soon as I do my fan starts making weird noises and one of the pieces of it falls off, now i’m scared the thing is gonna final destination me. I’m sleeping in a different room now and decided to light the candles again since i’m not in there (keeping an eye on them) but I just thought it was so odd those noises didn’t happen until after I decided to snuff the candles. I plan on doing a tarot reading and asking Hecate soon but does anyone have any input on this? I mean is there a chance I upset her? I don’t think I did anything wrong, I gave her offerings and the spell I did was mostly similar to this besides some of the herbs and candle color.

Also, when I decided to turn the fan back on it was during a meditation i had to cut short since I was getting too hot. The video of the meditation stopped at 5:55 and when i checked the time on my phone it was 22:20.

i wanna chalk it up to coincidence but that’s some freaky timing haha.

In my personal view and experience, working with Hecate requires a lot more devotion than your typical infernal spirit you can just call forth and petition. But don’t worry, worst case she will ignore you, not drop ceiling fans on you.

I think the dodgy ceiling fan would be the result of wear. If at all connected to your ritual, it would more probably be due to the energy you’ve conjured up and sent forth.

I would interpret the fan as old energy being cleared.

Some of this clearing might be a bit more abrupt, so just keep an eye out. Lol

She is a good mentor, there are things she doesn’t like but normally (at least for me) she doesn’t interfere much, except to give her opinion. You can work on it just by petitioning, yes, but if you want ongoing help or mentoring, it’s a good idea to give her something. She opens many doors for you and gives you significant insights to help your magick. If you want a good source about Hecate look at the book Hecatean Magick by the author Hecateus Apuliensis.
