As the target of someone who has only been empowering me, making me smarter, more sensitive and knowledgable of his work, I believe I have some advice on how to thwart their protection. Might also be the form of attack. If it is direct, try indirect. Rather than trying to get them to loose everything, cloud their mind, muddle their thinking so they become the creators of their own destruction.
And shield and place the stipulations that what you send can’t be sent back/deflected back because it can’t/won’t find you and the energy simply goes to the next available target.
Only way to kill a hydra is to get the heads more interested in ripping each other apart rather than chopping them off and having them multiply.
But yeah, in video games and RPG/other like games one of my favorite things to do is to set things up so the more I get attacked, the more it helps me by healing and or increasing my power. So big, direct blasts never do me lasting damage but the slow, little cuts are the thing that does me in.
I would suspect a similar tactic would work in real life.
Also, gonna admit I’ve never had a direct attack never/not catch me up in the backlash in some degree or another. My fault for thinking it’s cool to do that whole “walk away from a bomb explosion for dramatic effect like in the movies” because explosions don’t work like that in real life. hah.
