Half a charcoal or full for incense evocation?

Hey guys,

I have a question, when evoking and burning the incense. Can we use half a charcoal or do we have to use full. The thing is were I am currently living it like a really small place and I am not supposed to turn the smoke detector but of course I will. The only thing is that I don’t want any interruptions or people wondering if my room is on fire or something and I dont want to have that concern in my mind.

How do I go about doing this without creating a smoke scandal to the neighbors?

You could substitute the incese with a black mirror.

I can do this for full evocation? I have a black bowl with water which is supposed to better than a black mirror. Can I use this instead?

If you can find a way to position the bowl outside your circle and still see into it sure. I just got done watching an old Poke Runyon clip on YouTube and had black mirrors on the brain lol.
