Seems to have appeared first in Agrippa: http://altreligion.about.com/od/westernocculttradition/ig/Planetary-Intelligence-Sigils/Intelligence-of-Venus.htm

Mhm this was all I found on Google as well but I just didn’t feel like this is enough information.

Did a quick search through all 3 of the book’s (PDF) and didn’t find any matches for Hagiel
Although Hagiel’s name could of been spelled in Hebrew?
Apparently Hagiel is another name of Anael which is also an archangel although I’m not sure at all if I trust this source could anybody confirm this?
Try Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa: Occult Philosophy. Book II. (part 2) and search/scroll down a bit to “Names answering to the numbers of Venus.”
PS - looks like the answer you got on WF might be relevant as well, good luck.

Thanks this is definitely the best source of information so far
Quiet annoying how there isn’t a lot of info directly based on Hagiel though.
It took me about 30 seconds to flick my Agrippa open to the chapter on planets and spot Hagiel, about a minute to find him in my Key of Solomon, and twenty seconds to look him up in Davidson’s Dictionary of Angels. There are these objects called books and it does pay to invest in them. You can’t “flick” through Google or a 400-page pdf scan and find obscure information like this quickly.
Franz Bardon wrote something about her in his book of evocation aswell. You might want to look there
Hagiel is a great Angel of Friendship and Love.
It’s a she with red hair.
She teaches the electromagnetic fluid and all matters of the heart and of Loyality.
Anael is not another name of her.
In this forum you find Anael would be an Angel but in Dr. Johannes Faust’s MAGIA NATURALIS ET INNATURALIS Anael is a Demon of Love.

Luki
