So, I wrote this to one member asking a question on third eye and i thought the information i provided was really important to know and understand. Therefore, I figured I should make it into its own topic.
when is the last time you have looked at what you are consuming? most things we consume nowadays contain a chemical called Fluoride which can be in your toothpaste, water, soda, food, etc. Can be very harming to your senses and especially your Ajna chakra, or third eye.
Fluoride develops calcification of your pineal gland, which is the scientific term to your ajna chakra. Thus, foods that are rich in calcium and fluoride can be one thing to stop. Another thing you can do to stimulate your pineal gland is to sun gaze in the last hour of the day (meaning last hour before sunset, and the first hour) since the sun has none of that orangy color (UV) which has critical negative effects on your eyes.
Thats also why candle gazing type of meditation is great for decalcifying your pineal gland. You can work on couple different type of meditation at the same time. One is to sit in total darkness, no light what so ever and focus on your breathing while bringing your attention on the upper part of area between your eye brows, this will help produce more melatonin which cause your pineal gland size to increase. (kids have bigger pineal gland than adults - have you ever considered why?)
Moreover, It is also advisable to use mantras throughout your day for 1 - 5 minutes just chanting while vibrating since it can also help in stimulating your pineal gland and decalcify it.
