However, it does not make her a goddess of war. Any time you are single-mindedly focused on something, whether it is wonton slaughter or an activist cause you are passionate about, you are said to be under the aegis of Aphrodite.
This is incorrect. You can summon a deity the same way you summon any entity. Most people prefer using prayer and invocation but you can also physically evoke them.

Aphrodite/Venus is a good option. It also asks for self-love, which helps things flow better and also helps you have more confidence.
Hellenic deities are relatively chill, if you feel called to Aphrodite by all means worship her!
