Had a dream in which a giant black wolf spoke to me. He would open his mouth and hols it open bit I heard his voice in my head. He told me he was the alpha of the pack. He said that he wanted me to join his pack. The others were tired of waiting for me to join but they will wait because he told them to wait for as long as it takes for me to be ready to join their ranks as one of them. He said take what time I need but sooner is better than later.

Not sure. He didn’t tell me his name bit Fenrir did come to mind.
According to the nordic Eddas, Fenrir is a force of absolute change and mandatory in a process of transformation (I always interpreted Ragnarok as that, transformation, since life prevails in the end, even if it is a flower).
So, in case it isn’t a spirit, it may be your subconscious telling you something has to change. Just my 2 cents.
