I learned fox magick from 2 sources.
1)a malasian mantra “wulpee dakini hum” meaning fox vajra protector out of rebirth
2) jason reads’ fox magick book.
the first is overtly very responsive and slightly dangerous…for me. the danger must ,most likely ,increase or less likely, decrease with you.
the 2nd is more subtle. I have a love-hate relationship. its necessary.
In this post I’ll give my book review first then a mantra review on top and then tell about overall experience. so scroll down to see what you can like.
book review:
the first half is filler. chinese and japanese stories of fox spirits. I came here for magick not stories. I also fail to see how they are relevant to the magick at hand. most except for a zhang daoling story didnt seem relevant at all.
when we finally come to the practical magickal exercises,it starts from japanese kitsune ritual before switching to chinese hu xian(fox fairy/immortal), which I dont like since I am not being given a complete magickal system but a mish-mash of magick practices from china and japan. I also have a negative bias against the japanese magicks. They seem weaker than western or fellow eastern countern parts in china or java.
for the most part japanese kujikiri and other forms of their occult knowledge was ripped from china, and still seem weaker.
some of the fox magicks are referenced fully in others of his works which I do enjoy 10/10. Jason read is a good author, but fox magic was a piece of his work left wanting more original and meaningful context.
despite how scathing my review seems. i truly do recommend the book, dont let my rambling dissuade you. the pre-empowered talismans in it feel powerful and authentic. yup online talismans are real folks, and they do work, I testify.
the fox immortal sincerity ritual included is also value for money. its not practical though, youll have to to cut corners.
mantra review+ overall experience+ thoughts on fox system of magick.
this happened say 2-3 weeks ago, a year since I had gotten jason reads fox magick and left it to collect dust, and having disregarded fox magick as a weak system.
I dreamt I had been encircled by spirits I could not see. I instinctually knew they were fox spirits, though I had no dealings with them at all. It was baffling, I had been dealing with other spirits but these were one of the first to make contact in my dreams.
I remembered jason read’s japanese spell to see kitsune, near perfectly, which was surprising since it had been a year and again, I dont respect the japanese system of occult, to remember the spell I had paid such little attention was strange.
it worked.the japanese spell worked. I was surrounded by friendly green orbs who said they had been waiting months since I had done jason read’s magick for my astral senses to improve. I wont reveal the next contents of the dream.
the next morning I checked for what type of fox green orbs signified in jason read’s book. It made no mention of green orbs. I was tempted to disregard the experience as non-magickal.
then I checked what colours mixed to make green. blue and golden yellow. the colours of young and 9 tailed fox spirits. the first and last coloured orbs the book mentioned. green flames are also referred to as corpse fire. the colour of evil and undead spirits, which makes sense.
back in the days me and a friend who has left the forum had done a lot of work to “finally put 2 men in the box”, wink wink fox magick included. it came late for me but it came.
the day after I searched for more fox magicks across the internet and found only anime and other nonsense except for one “wulpee dakini hum”
I used the kitsune mudra and started chanting. right away some small acts of mischief happened towards me. My boss walked in on me reading the occult fox documents on my phone. He only saw me on my phone no one else. He didnt chastize me like he did others because “he saw how happy I was”. I had a big uncharacteristic grin on my face while chanting the mantra. He didnt want to spoil my happiness and let me off.
that was the first act of mischief. Although its was a show of fox charm force, I wouldn’t have been put into the situation if the fox didnt play games like that.
then again. I fucked up. moderately badly at work but was let off very easily. It was a really careless mistake that I had taken precaution against often but still fell for today. the fox wanted to show off its charm again.
the fox said it shouldnt have been this big of an issue but because I was unpurified and unprotected by a large margin that it got so bad. the fox’s cunning isnt human level cunning either. not very smart but not stoopid.
these are the only 2 fk ups I have made in my job for a long time.
I have since taken several precautions of protection and purification like solomon seals, camphor, tinctures and meditations to ease any damages the fox could do while playing around. the above incidents are the only ones ive encounted in my time with the hu xians.
the fox is the most responsive spirit I’ve met, just more responsive than the djinns. I’m confident its not being hostile or testing/teasing me but its truely a matter of my own unreadiness to intensively work with the fox.
