I’ve been experiencing these, and I’m almost positive they have everything to do with clairvoyance abilities being developed. But WHY do these happen? Sometimes I see patches of red light or sparks, sometimes I see drifting masses of colors, sometimes I see general distortion, other times I see giant lines.

You may be seeing spiritual energy. I see the same things a lot. Ive noticed a lot of times when pictures are taken in my house, there are orbs or streaks in the photos. Even when i just turn the camera on and cut on the flash they can sometimes be seen.
