Anyone who have had some experience with volac is encouraged to post.As most of you should be aware that volac is such an obscure dude, not much about him is available on the net, except the usual definitions from the goetia.I’ve been researching about him for quite some time, but as mentioned above,i’ve found nothing new about him…

I am curious to know more about Volac as well
Hmm well I heard some stuff about how he tends to use his childlike appearance to give an air of false innocence, and some speculation on a tale that he was the root cause of The Children’s Crusade of 1212 but other than that I also haven’t found much on him other than what the old books say
(Damn I just realized how old this post it whoops)
Just realized this was a very old post but I’ll chime in anyway. He visited me last month after a dream. I remember hearing a normal (female?) inquisitive voice asking, “Why don’t you summon or interact with Volac?” I replied, “No, no, nope. Not for me. Because it’s scary. He’s scary” and let out a strained laugh (I remember one BALG member said that he appeared like that damn nun in The Conjuring movies, so that’s why. I love horror movies, but seeing a nun like that IRL, zooming in on you and all? Chicken me will pass, thanks ).
I then immediately woke up after that, sat up and had only 10-15 minutes to go all, “WTF was that about, I wasn’t even thinking of that spirit” when I felt a foreign presence in my room. And something just clicked that it was him, Volac. My fear was palpable enough with unwanted visions of the damn nun in my head. And he might have found this amusing, because he tested me and challenged my authority. Chicken me was really scared at this point (the way he talked with a constant smile, the rough but playful language, it was very… think Negan from The Walking Dead) but I did my best to smile properly, look straight at him and told him that, no, I did not call him, I do not want to work with him, I’m dismissing him to his proper place, etc. When he pressed harder and asked why I don’t want to work with him, I blurted out, “Because of your approach. Look at your approach. I will not and never work with you unless you tone down the heavy malevolent energy and rude speech. You are scaring and challenging me to the best of your abilities, creepy 3 AM juju and all and we both know it!” At this point, I was already glaring at him.
For some reason, it seemed this satisfied him, because he was like, “Well, that wasn’t so hard” and surprisingly, tone it down he did. He was still smiling, but the intimidating energy was no more. He changed his appearance to more of the traditional Goetia descriptions: a young adolescent boy with soft gentle features (I’ll try posting it in the thread for spirits’ appearance tomorrow). I think I even saw him with a friendly-looking snake around his arm and hand. He still talked Negan-like, but less swearing. He ranted a bit about how certain spirits like him don’t get enough appropriate ( the horror movie portrayals don’t count, he said) attention. He also chuckled at me, saying, “I’m not gonna hurt you, kid. Don’t worry” and “I will see you again/This is not the last time you’ll see me” when I really insisted on him leaving so I can go back to sleep.
At times I still try to process WTF was up with that visit lol.
ETA (edited to add): Seconds after I posted this, I went back to the forum’s homepage and what do I see next to this thread? A thread titled, “Having lots of dreams about snakes”.
I agree with his statement that some of these entities get left out or don’t receive due ‘attention’ as he put it.
When I was doing preparatory immersion to evoke him 3 years back, I could hardly find any firsthand experience a mage has had with this being. I was so obsessed with him that when I was doing research on him, I stumbled across a random Anime website and just felt a draw to read a particular comic in the website and one of the characters turned out to be him!
I’ll definitely work with Volac again. I couldn’t bother seeing conjuring as it made me laugh when Valac was the ‘demon’ in the movie.
