No, do NOT use blood. Angels generally don’t like it and frankly, it is almost always unnecessary.
Just open the seal in the usual manner. If you do it properly, there is no need to add anything else to it. Then, call to the angel. Sing their name, or you can recite a conjuration. There are several available on the forum that are good.
