Evocation and Invocation

I know what the difference is but what exactly are the pros and the cons of these methods? Can anyone give me a ven diagram explanation please lol! Also is making a pact with azazel essentially “selling my soul” as he works for Satan? Also what’s the difference between Satan and Lucifer? Someone please explain if you have time to enlighten me if greatly appreciate it! I am happy to be part of a community of people who think alike in many ways

Um…no. Azazel does not “work” for Satan. Where did you get that idea?

Please use the search function as the question regarding the selling of souls has already been answered many times on this forum. The short answer is, no one wants your soul. A pact is a binding agreement between you and a spirit, nothing more.

Actually, we don’t think alike. If we did, this would be a religion or a cult.

That one’s a very good question, people’s experiences & opinions vary and there’s no real consensus, but there’s a topic on it here you may find interesting:

Two possible point of views, both in the “same entity” case (but maybe they are two different entities), are that: 1) Lucifer is the angelic and Satan the demonic version of the spirit. Or 2) I remember to have read that Lucifer is somewhat polished and Satan more raw.

I understand what you are saying but in my Lsd trip to with azazel I feel like I was at home suddenly he took me into a dementinional trip to ‘hell’ . And there was fire all around us into the circle. After I could ‘feel’ azazel talking through me with feelings! Like he was sgowing me that he was with me the whole time he ket his presence ve known or my senses were just hightened from the lsd. And i kept seeing eyes with pyrimids, any thoughts? And that the secret to this cosim uoke was you are what you create!!! And he showed me a spider in my mind it was creepy dark background and stars and like rain/lightning. After that i just try t o chill as it was VERY intense ritual!

Some beings don’t like you to be under the influence.

As to Satan or Satans; there are many but there may be a construct like one by Christians. All imho.

When you’re invoking, you’re calling the spirit inside of your body. It runs the risks of involuntary full possession, adapting a trait of the entity (not always a bad thing, but it can be if you adapt the worst parts of them) and distorting your sense of self; as in, becoming obsessed with that being to the point where you think you are them.

As for evocation, I’ve heard stories of spirits breaking out of their circles, crystals, whatever you’re using to evoke them with and causing physical harm to the magician (usually something like seizures).

I do a LOT more invoking than evoking, so I might have gotten the evocation stuff wrong.

Selling your soul isn’t an actual thing. Souls are useless to spirits. They’ll help you take care of it, but they don’t want it.

From my understanding, “Satan” is a title, not the name of a being. As it means “adversary”, it can just mean someone who is an enemy to you.

However, others have claimed that they’ve worked with Satan. I wouldn’t know for sure, because I haven’t worked with either him or Lucifer.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I wouldn’t jump to conclusions if I were you xD Get to know people; you may be surprised by how similar and different we really are.

^ THIS.

In fact, I wouldn’t trust hallucinogenic drugs at all, since they can distort your sense of reality that badly. You may experience something that feels real, but it didn’t actually happen.

It’s where you really have to know yourself and the spirit (or what times and others say if you are lacking in divination departments).

When I work with spirits I really try not to become delusional or fly off the handle in rage. The results WILL usually be detrimental to the thought target. (Unless that’s the goal).

I’ve tried to be altruistic and generally nice to people and even do the nice deed. Usually I get something BAD back. Maybe I created that current.

Example of this last time:

Last Saturday I spent the day at the library doing my think (NO NOT PORN!!); downloading some games, music, PDFs, and reading forums.

30 min before closing I start to bike home. BAM!!! In the middle of the bike lane is a relatively new iPhone 8+. It was locked of course and someone had been texting to it. Stickers on the back of roses and a sucker was also taped there. Could have been a gals. It was late so I picked it up took it to the librarian to hold and explained the situation. I bid farewell hoping the owner would find it.

FF to today. I ask the librarian about the phone and indeed the owner finally came. I was told she was absolutely loud and foul yelling and cursing and accusing the library staff of stealing the phone. They tried to explain that a nice citizen brought it there for safekeeping but this megabit has would have none of it threatening police and to sue. A horrible story. I apologized to the librarian but she said I did right by being nice. Some people.

Not the worse outcome for me but the workers of the library are very nice people so it saddened me a little. I have worse stories but meh.

Ok enough of my tangents.
