The demons have been summoned that way for centuries and don’t seem to have a problem with it. It’s only the demon loving humans that worship them that seem to have issues with the method.

If you mean the banishing incantation, it should be done out loud. I don’t know how effective it would be as a whisper, but there’s no reason why you can’t try it.
