Enki Satan Epic of Gilgamesh

So i have recently switched from calling Satan Melek Ta’us to Enki since it is said both Ta’us and Enki are Satan and the same. Anyway today i was bargin browsing at goodwill and found gilgamesh in the classic books section i see it as a sign from Enki. My question is should this book be considered a holy text amongst satanists and followers of Enki Satan?

And fyi yes Enki is Melek Taus and Satan.

If anything gilgamesh is more ancient than the bible and should be considered a holy book amongsts pagans.

Not really. The epic of Gilgamesh is the story of the king of Uruk. It doesn’t have any practices for magi or anything like that. I have read it and it’s a really nice story.

There is some Magickal knowledge conveyed in The Epic (i.e., Enkidu’s seduction), but don’t read it for that reason.

Not really. Pagans don’t necessarily follow or fit themselves into a specific doctrine. It doesn’t lay out practices nor doctrines. Holy book would not fit it. Mythology is better suited, as it’d already called.

Haven’t looked into that so no comment. However. I do know that Lucifer=Melek Taus, But Satan =/= Lucifer.

Back to holy book, I don’t really see paganism as a religion but rather a form of spirituality, take that as you will. It’s better off without that. The purpose of leaving Xianity is to leave the doctrines and the slave mindset. In my mind, a holy book, reinstates that. It wouldn’t make sense.

Follow your own path. Read what another writes but always question things. I came on this path by questioning the dogma and ‘they are evil part’. On the other side I sometimes have my doubts on certain readings or statements on BALG too, it’s always a person that does the interpretation. Be de judge on what you read and follow the inner voice. It makes things confusing, I know

Nothing is a Holy text; that leads to worship and dogma.

Melek Taus is not Satan, that is a falsehood, that Muslims made up so they can enslave, rape and persecute Yezidis. According to them, labelling Yezidis as devil-worshippers can justify any number of vile acts against them, including child rape and murder.

Most likely he is derived from Murugan, a Southern Indian deity, also associated with the peacock. That is what official Yezidi sources also claim these days. The Peacock Angel’s links to Enki are also highly speculative, I would not take those claims seriously.

Satan has most likely very littlle to do with either of these deities, being a minor character in the Bible, that is slightly mischievious and adversarial, a bit like Loki in Nordic Mythology. Murugan, Enki and Melek Taus all predate the character of Satan in the Bible by several thousands of years. The most you can say is that these deities (along with others, like Pan, Poseidon and Shiva) served as inspiration in creating the popular image of Satan as God of the Underworld, who presides over the souls of the dead and judges them for their earthly actions.

In fact, I suspect that the consistent dread of Satan and the Underworld is a holdover from Greco-Roman beliefs, where the underworld was assumed to be a dreary place and the god of the underworld much feared. Nothing of the sort about Satan actually appears in the Bible, so it must have a different source.

Melek Taus has a ton of research linking him back to Azazel if anything. But then there’s those very few occult authors who don’t do their research and cluster azazel with Lucifer and them all with Satan/Satanael.

Satan is a fallen angel rather than a God, as well as a title.

The title satan was created by demonizing Pagan Gods mainly the Horned Gods.

Then Satanael is a fallen angel and a grigori in the 2nd Book of Enoch I believe.

I love how you try to spread knowledge even in 2 year old threads

I mostly agree with you

Mostly Greeks but more than this a need of adversary like in “1984”, on the other hand Romans introduced many pagan belief into Christianity. If you ever visit Rome, you will see hundred of such belief adapted; The goddess became Mary.

Just an example, but 2000 years ago Lucifer, was a Roman God, associated with Venus. 600 years ago He was an angel responsible for dead souls and portrayed in churches; not banished and not an adversary for sure. Then all of sudden around 300 -400 years ago, he became the devil you know. But times are changing and we are at the end of the Age of Pisces so they will need new lies.

just dig please the history you will see more and more absurdities, the only Holy thing is power; hence their Agenda which yields it.

That guy below is obsessed with Aryanism and Underworld to a degree; but yet he offers very very good information on some topics.

As an example
