Duke or Lord cool but Sir? Nope

Im getting to know Duke Dantalion (whom is my guardian) and I evoked Duke Sallos to help with my “lusting”

Now im getting the impression they don’t mind being called Duke of course or Lord (Lord comes out more naturally than Duke for some reason.) But Duke Dantalion seems to HATE being called “Sir” That’s the impression im getting and just wondering if anyone else.

It is quite diminutive compared to Duke, or even to Lord. It would place him on the level of say, a Knight.

I do agree. I simply said “Yes sir” to a thought he gave me and he didn’t like it much. Not angry per sae but more of like flick of the nose and don’t say that type energy.
