A spell I am considering casting requires me to dress a 7 day candle. This 7 day candle is however in a glass jar that cannot be popped out. What would be the proper way to dress such a candle? Just put some of the oils on the top of the candle? Something feels like this is not proper. I would appreciate some help, thank you.
I tried searching to see if this question has already been answered here, but could not find anything. If it has been answered previously, please link me and I will take this post down.

I occasionally use these because they can be found economically for altars and the like where you definitely want a longer burn.
I usually dip my fingers in oil and rub it on the top of the candle making clockwise motions for works drawing things to me or counter clockwise rubbing circles for moving things away from me.
I then usually take a sharpie and draw a symbol, write some words or otherwise personalize the jar so it’s clear to my mind what the candles energy is for.
Simple isn’t really wrong, the actions tend to generate energy in symbolic relation to what your intent is and your intent tells the energy where it’s going when leaves the candle.
So just make sure you think about the purpose and yeah, that’s really all you can do except poke cloves down the top or other similar things to the top.
I’ve seen these candles sold dressed where they are made with the oils in the wax and glitter and shit is added to the jar, but you can’t feasibly do anything like that, so you have to work with what you can.
You could even tie a ribbon around it or put stickers or hot glue on some odd thing if it fitted your intentions and helped you make it less simple, the energy generated would go to goal, so it’s not wasted to do more than necessary.

Put in top.little bit of anything because it may slim down the wick and candles be wasted.avoid honey, sugar it can bomb you place,

If the top of the candle was completely open and the surface large enough you could see if it was possible to drill holes in the wax and literally inject things in, otherwise as mentioned above, it is will and intent anyway, you could simply visualize dressing the candle and impregnate it at a different level than the physical, which I recommend to do anyway while arranging the material ingredients, always remember that every gesture is marked and fixed by your intent

Another option.making sure I’m not cheap, just work whit wat I have instead of paying,$5/8 dollars candle, get tea light,I think I. Dollar store is under 2 bucks you can add oil and little herbs and purify yourself, and it can be used a few hours, if need a picture, print one from Walmart and put in you altar, mosT are white but the intent counts

I hate 7 days candles bcse get off and it’s hard to re_ light,or smoke too much break down,a mess,so tea lights or medium candles or velones are better, andmore safe,

Can I get a how bout it!!! ?
Even with the long armed lighters they can be a challenge, I once heated one in a pot of water and poured wax off to make it work…
the wick broke to a nub when I tried to relight it and I couldn’t keep a long armed lighter lit because it was about 3/4 burned.
Usually the custom and handmade ones that cost more burn better, but the cheap ones!! Lol
7 day candles will break if you put alot of material in them-and then everone freaks out. Proper way to dress-my opinion-for oils, i use a pippette dropper. Dont freepour. And 7 day candles are mass produced-some batches have shtty wicks, wax gaps. They WILL cause fires or burn funky. For safety- we put them in small mexican ceramic dishes and fill it with soil. I have some pix if you really want
