You always work on yourself. That’s numero uno. A must. No matter what is going on in your life. YOu cannot take yourself out of the equation. That’s why people’s life is mess up. They dont’ work on self. they look for answers outside of themselves. Always I see. How often people ask others for advice or what they want? They never go into deep state and ask their inner self. All their actions are base on other’s suggestion. Look at all the bad advice given by their friends, family, coworkers etc about relationship between themselves that has nothing to do with the person they ask. They ask others what to do instead of talking heart to heart with the person they interact with.
