Just curious to know everybody’s thoughts on this one. Seems like an interesting question to me. Does watching porn or masturbation affect our magick or spiritual enlightenment in any way? Didn’t find clear answers to this anywhere on the internet.

I don’t know about affecting spirituality but I always found it odd that I could feel the sexual energy. As if it was trapped in the video.

Honestly orgasms give me a huge energy/power boost that stretches through all the chakras tbh. If done correctly.
I think porn is eh. I definitely don’t think it helps anything. Maybe even the opposite.

Not very much one way or another, unless your working with an entity that disapproves of such things. I hear it can also interfere with deeper levels of daoist internal alchemy. I guess it depends on circumstances and the current you work with

Porn for me doesnt effect my magic. I mean, every video is a shitton of sexual energy. Energy in motion. There is alot of magic that can be done with the various types of porn out there.
Its more like a gauge for me. A gauge of how far in the Dark Pit ive gotten lol. Like some forms of Hentai for example. There is some fucked up Hentai out there that goes beyond tentacles and shit (and yes ive seen it). Ever been to Shadbase? Or looked at any of his artwork? Makes 4chan look like a sandbox.

if you truly dont give a fuck and are willing to do anything to Ascend and Gain power, porn wont be a weakness but a source of power for you because you know and understand what can be done with it. Yeah i said it, Porn can be a source of power. There. Happy?
Same for masturbation.

The Argument of Porn/Masturbation Addiction
Ive been there. Let me say that again: Ive been there. I was addicted to it way back in my RHP days. To the point where i was crying cause i “couldnt stop” so i know how it feels.
Jehovah was powerless to deliver me from it, and obviously i was too…until I stopped. Giving. A fuck.
Then it ceased to be an addiction.
It doesnt have to affect you if you approach without moralistic bullshit.
And no i do not oversexualize any woman i see on the street lol.
I do recommend maybe cleansing yourself tho after you watch. Some of that shit has some serious Spirits that are sickly energy wise. Thats what gives off a “creepy” vibe to energetically clean females.

Yea, it steals your energy when you release it too often. If you were to direct the energy once you’ve raised it through these things, then you would be doing sex magick. Otherwise, splooshing to porn is a waste of perfectly good sexual energy. If you watch it without splooshing, you could draw the energy from it. That could be beneficial.
I say all this because old school grimoires have restrictions on what you need to do to prepare for evocation. They don’t want you fapping, drinking, or eating. Is it Christian piety, or is it legit alchemy? You decide. I personally can have sex and still perform quality magick. I’m just playing the opposite side of everyone else to be Devil’s Advocate and give you some things to think about.

yea it drains your energy away.from magick and lessens it’s effects.
I would say that basically everything you do can affect your magick. Sex, in any form, can be something you celebrate or it can be something, that is just a sad fix, an emptying to avoid deeper issues and feelings. When something is not an escape, it can be positive. As soon as it becomes an addiction, it is bad.

It was the Daoist Alchemy topic, esp in regards to the dangers poised by ejaculation to the advancement of qi cultivation via an effective Qigong practice, which got me into crazy research mode a few yrs back. I had heard a few guidelines that I did not like so I looked hard for a way to avoid such rigidity. It was something along the lines of each release cancels out your training value for the 2 days prior to, and the 2 or 3 days after (ejaculation). On top of that, the number of authorized releases per week, or month were rx’d based on age. This did not work for me for a variety of reasons. The old saying “work smarter not harder” seemed to be relevant here… I found a hint to an override technique mentioned in passing in an obscure Qigong manuscript…involving the left hand placed over the Dan Tien just prior to the moment to ejaculation could possibly recirculate the precious cargo instead of sending it. My personal modification of the technique and results are as follows:
- set intention of reabsorbing through your left hand all pure sexual energy intended for release via ejaculation, while compartmentalizing the junk (which I ground out, but could be stored for some other use I suppose…)
- begin either solo or partner assisted activities.
3)once you intuitively know the inner pressure to be building, place left hand over the Dan Tien.
Note, I personally don’t engage a hardcore inhalation here…I allow the natural breathing and intent placed before to handle the flow level. Kind of like sensing chakra flow with the left hand during a healing. My concern of course would be over drawing from the battery that what was scheduled for release (importance of intent setting)*
(Could be a segway here for experimentation and/or weaponizing the technique) - leave hand in place until the conclusion of all involuntary internal physical movement.

I’ve had good success with this method. To each there own of course, but my personal way has been to exercise self control and attempt to regulate my sexual activity via the aforementioned age bracket guidelines I hinted at above. And then employ this one top of the schedule enforcement to avoid any energetic set backs. I also channel as huge amount of energy in the hour that follows in order to cover my bases, but that’s just me.

I usually offer the energy by imagining the sigil as a portal and sending it through or direct it towards a goal. I usually try to wait until my sexual frustration builds up for a week. My spirit husband told me that every sex act is potentially a “magickal child”. Meaning an opportunity for manifestation of a thought or idea.
