I’ve started to explore various spiritual entities, and for some reason, I keep coming around to the Djinn. I am mildly interested in Djinn magick, but I keep hearing OVER and OVER that you should not casually “play” with the Djinn.
First, I should say that I would never casually play with any spirit. It’s just not in my personality to take these things lightly. At the same time, this kind of warning has the perhaps unintended consequence of scaring me away from interacting with the Djinn at all.
My questions are as follows:
1.Should I avoid them altogether?
2.And if not, are there any that members of the forum have used successfully?
3. Any tips for working with them successfully?
4. Finally, are Djinn only used to destroy other people? Or can one use the Djinn to obtain riches, etc.
Djinn aren’t “used” djinn are entities who can agree or deny you and screw your over if you mistreat them. So treat them like you would any person here. Djinn can help with a plethora of things, you just have to find out for yourself which one works well because in a lot of cases there’s no such thing as “this race is good for helping in this particular thing” because they individually have different focuses.
From the sources of djinn mythology I’ve read, Allah created the djinn and then sought to destroy them. The djinn have been used and manipulated by holy men. So one could say they’re just as cautious of you as you are of them.
Thank you for your response. I wonder what the best approach one can take to respectfully see if a particular djinn entity will agree. I wouldn’t want to ask the wrong entity or make a request that makes a particular individual feel disrespected.
Djinn hate humans. They believe they’re superior race and humans should not exist. That was their father’s argument with the Islamic God, and the reason why their father, Satan, was cursed.
The only reasons for Djinn to cooperate with humans, is when they share the same beliefs or faith. Or you show enough respect for them to help. The other option is to use power and force against them to make them do what you want… and that’s what they deal with from the majority of humans. Another reason to hate humankind.
So when you approach them, you need to have absolute power against them or you need to prove to them that you’re on their side.
The djinn I come across don’t like humans but they don’t hate them. Only due to the fact humans treat them like tools instead of people. Of course they don’t dislike all humans and it’s a matter of what individual jinn you meet.
I saw this and was like…what? So i called some Djinns…They said Al’lah didn’t create them. Nor does the one who made them ever threatened or sought to destroy them. That it’s all stories made up by humans.
I can send some to you, if you can see them, just table your request to them. And dismiss them. No problem at all. I’m in a very good, in fact, it’s a perfect terms with this Spirits called Djinns.
It’s just confirmed here, said they don’t. But despise the holy men of old/ancient who enslaved them. But the human race generally is loved. No hatred. “Your word, our command; what we want in return? Love. Honour.”
I showed one of their Kings these particular message, he said none of it is true. It’s all humans idea.
Laughter Use force…as those of Old Days…I won’t advise that. “Let’s go to the next chapter… humans thoughts are all - no faith, no belief. We’re not trapped by any Earthly ideas or tradition”.
So the way I understand this is that, as the holy men of old loaded with powers and coercion to control them, yes, be in good terms with them. “Power against them…be on their side… Anyone can approach us, as long as you’re fit for the entrance”
So I understand the word “fit for the entrance clearly”, like, when you know the way about it. How to treat Spirits. “Indeed, we’re Martian Spirits, we like wars, troubles, bloodshed etc (can’t list all) but we’re not all that’s written about us”.
We have some kind of “house Ifrit” (if that term makes sense, its not a pet or anything. But it lives with us). It gives our landlord and his family a hard time but doesn’t cause trouble on our side of the “fence”. I won’t say its not malicious. But it seems to know actual boundaries.
(Edit: since we will move out soon I am not 100% sure if I’ll leave it there or if I should invite it to travel with us. For some reason its presence grew close to my cold and dead heart, lel)
With all respect to your opinion and experiences etc etc
What I’m talking about is based on information from religious scriptures and traditional sources and practices about Djinn. Not my personal opinion. So there’s no need to explain all that to me. I just mentioned the information I know from those sources, not what I daydream about or visualize or imagine is going on or my personal philosophy about Djinn
It’s important that we share our experiences and opinions. But it’s equally important to have sources of information that we can get back to, in order to validate and verify our experiences.
People could be crazy, lying or being played by tricksters … anything is possible. Personal experience should not be the only source in the occult or this knowledge will be buried under tons and tons of B.S and fuckery.
I tend to agree with this, mainly because ancient text may have a grain of truth but in the end you have more “truth” if you find the actual entities and ask their own view and story.
This things bore me, seriously.
I didn’t direct my reply at you, but making things clear for the OP.
Not your personal opinion, but from religious scriptures and traditional sources… And I choose to call the Spirit instead and ask the questions from them, and i clarify it. Is that something bad?
My opinion and experiences? Personal experience? Well…
For me, I just thought it’s far better to fetch the answers from the Spirits themselves than tons of ideas. Some does contradict themselves. Not proving anyone wrong or anything. It’s simple as that.
Can you send me some “nice” djinn, @luxfero? I need some help with a few things (income, job, place, sex etc.) You can PM me for more info, if you need it.
Thank you for clarifying all of this for me. It seems as if they key to working with the djinn is respect and treating them as individuals worthy of esteem, love, and honor. I do not necessarily feel comfortable yet because there is so much to learn, but I would like to continue exploring so that I can pick the right entity when the time is ripe and approach in a correct manner, or as you say when I am “fit for the entrance.” Thanks again for your time.
Thank you for your response. I, too, have read some sources about the djinn that make me want to be very careful and respectful. I’m still at the early stages of exploration and don’t want to do anything wrong. There does seem to be conflicting information, and I’m all for learning more.
