I recently started a ritual from Magickal Attack (by Gordon Winterfield), but I had never read about the spirits from that particular ritual before, they didn’t seem familiar.
I looked up a bit and it seems they belong to the Ars Theurgia Goetia. So I looked up other modern magick books about it and found Demons of Wrath by Corwin Hargrove. This author’s rituals are much simpler (just three nights), in comparison to the one I had already began from Magickal Attack (33 nights, which I’ll keep doing until completion anyway).
Then I searched here for reviews and opinions, but most threads about DoW and Theurgia spirits are old and haven’t had any updates for years. A lot of those users are not even active anymore.
So, anyone got experiences to share about these particular spirits and DoW?
Would the ones from DoW “blend” well with the ones from Magickal Attack if combined?

No… well sorta. I’ve used it and I know I got results, but I’d be dumb fckd to remember what and for what…
But….
I have it and believe it to be sound, I have personally worked in depthed with Hargroves other books, way more than this one and they all work. They all work really well- alone or combined in a layered method.
Hargrove’s work is good, and I don’t him personally, but I will vouch for the validity of his work. It’s good stuff.

Thank you!
So far I did two rituals from DoW, for causing conflict (Icosiel), and inducing regret (Pyrichiel). It’s still way too soon for me to say how they worked out, though.
However, I looked up the Ars Theurgia and found that two of the spirits (Buriel, to cause anxiety, and Uriel/Vriel, to weaken and confuse) are said to be “by nature evil and hated by all other spirits,” and “will not obey willingly and are very false in their doings,” respectively. I haven’t worked with either of those, but I found it curious nonetheless.
I’m liking this author’s practical approach, and I thought of getting his Goetia Pathworking book, but I’ll wait to see what results I get with DoW first, because the GP reviews I found here in the forums are mixed (I’ve seen you had really good results though!). Djinn can be tricky so I’ll be skipping his book on those.

That bit about them being only evil. Reminds me of how certain Goetic spirits are said to be liars. Spoiler alert, it’s more a reflection or projection of those who wrote the grimoires, instead of a judgment on the spirits themselves. Evoke the same spirit, and different people will get different versions of the spirit.
I worked with Demons of Wrath for a while. But I am far removed from those on the recieving end, so I cannot confirm or deny.
