Demons of Magick - first ritual step by step (help with better understanding)

I recently got a copy of “Demons of Magick” by Gordon Winterfield. There are 3 rituals in this book, but I don’t understand what are the main steps of the first ritual. Can someone simplify what are the main steps of this evocation working? The concept of using judeo-christian god’s names and archangels is quite new for me, and I would like to make a better view on this with someone who is just “IN”.

  1. Does this whole sigil should (I mean all the parts with Hebrew letters) I draw or can I just print it?
  2. Should I learn how to spell aloud hebrew letters properly before using these rituals?

1: You can print it, you mainly just need to focus on it to connect yourself.
2: You don’t need to learn Hebrew by any means, just know how to pronounce what you need to say.

What do you think of burning the candle and petition? Necessary or not?

Not everyone can use candles and the process calls for burning the petition after the ritual. I guess I answered my own question, take the petition and dispose of it away from the house another day or tear it up etc.

The first ritual is for petition, rather than evocation. I believe there is also a summary of the ritual steps at the end of the section.

Or, do you mean simplifying the mechanism by which the spell works?

  1. You can draw it, print it, or use it straight from the book or an electronic device, it makes no difference. But I would recommend using it from the book directly; you might lose detail if drawing it.
  2. There is no need. You don’t need to read or comprehend the Hebrew letters in the sigils, and all of the spoken Hebrew (the psalms and angelic names) are spelled out phonetically.

Yep, if you can’t burn it, you can tear it into small pieces and dispose of it (as you mentioned)

Thank you. A little confirmation makes all the difference sometimes.

I have the book but not used it due to two reasons, it being a little bit complicated compared to other methods but mostly it’s because I don’t like the idea of burning things in the house.

Other methods are more simple and I choose the no props rituals mainly, but when I have to write things down for a ritual such as names to call I write them on a cigarette paper and smoke it afterwards.
Simple, easy and quite covert lol.

Yeah I wouldn’t want to mix anything toxic with my tobacco :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks for the respond. Do you know if the sentence for petition ritual must be in english? Or can I use my native language (polish) with the code to cipher it?

You can use your native language. English is never mandatory in magick.
