I plan to work with Hypnos and Phantastos from Dream Gates & Astral Paths by Mason and Kerval, along with Tej’ik from Tam Kingsley’s The Chaos Magick Warrior. The servitor isn’t originally his but a public one from a shamanic ritual group. I’ve had experiences with Phul and Thalos pulling me out of body for astral projection.

Hypnos specializes in inducing trance states and altered states of consciousness. I want to work with Hypnos because he has the ability to directly put you into a trance making him perfect for beginners. Many spirits offer guidance or lessons, but Hypnos is great because he can actually help you access deep trance states easily and he can also help you with dream recall, divination, innerwork, meditation, trance states, dreamwork, magical rituals, spirit communication, shadow work etc…

It is said Phantastos has shown to be quite willing to come and work with the practitioner that definitely makes me look forward to working with him. The reason I want to work with Phantastos is his ability to create dreams that act in accordance with the magician’s will I believe that by doing so this can influence the subconscious and extend there effects into the external world manifesting the practioner desires.

Tej’ik abilities to induce visions, lucid dreams, gnosis, astral projection, clairvoyance, clairaudience, and remote communication. Tej’ik even facilitates astral meetings and allows for connection to other’s dreams. I’m interested in working with him to access higher knowledge through his influence and expertise and his role as a guide to the astral and dream worlds makes him invaluable in any spiritual practice.

Just a quick update I was planning to work with Hypnos and Phantastos over the weekend, but I only managed to work with them for a day. Hypnos is incredible I simply asked Hypnos to directly induce a trance for me he caused me to slip into a trance it was like slipping into a deep state of relaxation and focus my mind became calm like a wave washed over me calming every thought and feeling during the trance there was a sense of detachment quieting mind chatter that feeling where my awareness narrows and time stands still and I could feel the influence of the trance state lingering even hours later and my mind feels primed to slip into trance anytime I want.

Phantastos on the other hand regarding the dreams I had some of the most vivid realistic dreams I’ve ever experienced so detailed that I felt as if I was living another life and the sensory perception in these dreams was unbelievable just as real as physical reality and don’t get me wrong I’ve had dreams before and dreams can feel real but this experience was insanely real like really really real and I wasn’t specific I just asked Phantastos to make me have dreams.

I should also mention that I didn’t follow the ritual outlined in the book I simply used the sigil a more straightforward approach but it still seemed to be effective. I used Hypnos sigil first to get into a trance, then Phantastos sigil for dreams however you don’t need to do both you can just use Hypnos for trance or Phantastos for dreams. I did both because I was curious and wanted to see how they could work together but it’s optional.

I plan to explore different aspects or likenesses of Hypnos like Drowzee Hypno and Phantastos Musharna I’m aware this might be viewed as crossing into Hellenic or Chaos Magic territory, but I’m excited to see what experiences come from it. I was also inspired by another user to work with Hypnos which eventually led me to working with Phantastos. I believe I barely scratched the surface of what’s possible there’s so much more to discover. Hypnos and Phantastos they are powerful, inspiring, and helpful in guiding my work.

I’m also planning to read Suggestion and Autosuggestion by Charles Baudouin.

I didn’t get the chance to work with Tej’ik yet but I plan to especially now since I feel like my trance state is stronger.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Phantastos having worked with both Phantastos and Hypnos a few times now for trance state and lucid dreaming I believe Phantastos true power goes far beyond just creating dreams like making the impossible possible I see it as extending into reality itself and his ability to move between dreams and waking life even though he can actually do this but also like a metaphor for how everything exists simultaneously non linear and interconnected it’s as if reality and imagination are just different aspects of the same material all shaping each other in the now.

Phantastos has no fixed form he looks like whatever the magician believes or imagines or the purpose or goal what the magician hope to achieve or manifest through their magical act or ritual for example, if the magician’s intent is to manifest a wish then the purpose of the working is to make that wish come true his form seems to be a mirror of what the magician truly desires or aims to accomplish with their magic like I said he appears differently to each magician depending on what they believe or want him to be and I can say with working with them that the boundaries between what is real and what is imagined are fluid not fixed.

My experiences with Phantasos have shown me that there is much more to his abilities than traditional myths suggest in my opinion and Phantastos embodys or represents potentiality, creativity, and transformation and leading me to viewing such deities as capable of manifesting those potentials into reality like materilization, alchemy, conjuring etc… I believe he has or can evolve and expand beyond his traditional roots embracing new aspects and powers while still remaining connected to his original mythos and while this might go against some magical teachings or beliefs many traditional magical systems emphasize the importance of staying true to the core principles and origins of their practices. I would argue that deities and magical entities can be dynamic and adaptable and their true power lies not just in their origins but in their ability to grow, evolve, and respond to new frameworks and doesn’t necessarily mean abandoning tradition but can be seen as an organic development.

I plan to explore this aspect of his power further exploring into his capabilities and truly how far they can go and what real magic might actually entail and in my understanding true magic isn’t just about illusions or tricks it’s about genuine transformation and the ability to influence reality at its core it’s a deeper more profound power that goes beyond just appearances.

I was reading an excerpt from The Four Elements of the Wise In magic what you believe and perceive can shape what is real and functional it opened my eyes to the reality of beings and the magic they can do.

I want to see how far I can push the boundaries of dreams and reality.
