Dancehall originated in the '70s in Jamaica. Obeah and vodou are the spiritual practices there, so maybe the spirits associated with them.

Iām not familiar with the genre but yes you can use the experience of listening to a song as a n offering.
Any song can be used in magick as long as the song is similar to the nature of the spirit called on. That depends on things like the tempo and sounds, and the lyrical themes.
