It is fine to ask for a reading. As a new member it is against the rules for you to offer them to others.
Please keep in mind, though, that members of the forum only offer readings when they feel so inclined, so do not have high expectations of receiving one and pepper the forum with impatient messages.
Maybe someone will be willing, but maybe not.
