So, long story short, I quit my old job in favour of a new company which looked really good in December last year. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a scam. They fired me within 17 days and carefully made sure they left no paper trail of my employment. Now, they adamantly won’t release my salary even for the time I worked (illegal in India).
