There’s no way to prepare for a Tower experience, other than to know it’s coming. Look for the weaknesses in your foundation. Where are you vulnerable? Do you have the inner and outer resources you need to deal with big change? It’s good to be alarmed when you get the Tower card. It’s both a wakeup call and a cautionary tale. Don’t sugarcoat the message - the time for denial is long past.

There is need for respite now. Lay down your sword and let things calm while you replenish yourself for the next battle. If you feel too debilitated to continue on with your endeavor, there is no shame in passing on the task to the next generation. It’s far better to understand your limits than to harm the situation by persevering beyond your capability.

Your initial impulses are good, but your run the risk of losing sight of the big picture. Get some distance from your endeavour if you feel confused about or unclear of your purpose. There is no rush, and you won’t lose momentum by stepping back for a brief time to get some needed perspective.

The precepts of religion can be learned without the need for analysis or inner searching.
