Chanting Azazel's enn

As I was awakening today, there was a being who I could not see, and he was by my bed. He spoke to me telling me to chant on his enn. The first name that popped into my mind was Azazel, there was a sense of knowing this is who was speaking to me.

I’m new to this type of thing. Do I need his sigil as well, or can I just chant his enn?

You can evoke him with or without sigil
Chanting his sigil until you feel his presence
And speeak to him!

@GreekPantheon Thank you.

I did chant his enn without the sigil, and I got the impression I should not be so casual. I’m not sure what he meant by that.

Maybe he meant to start doing the enn along with his sigil…

@anon50363245 If he did, he didn’t tell me that specifically. All I remember getting was to chant his enn.

Rather than start a new thread, I’ll ask here.

What is the difference between Azazel’s enns?

Itz rel, Itz rel, Azazel

and

Eya on ca Azazel aken

I’ve tried both whilst gazing at his sigil. The first one didn’t seem to have any effect. But the second one caused a heavy atmosphere (unpleasant) and I was attacked by a malevolent spirit that I’ve been having trouble with. I did sense Azazel in the background saying to me about how to deal with the spirit (something along these lines).

Is the first one more for invocation? Or…? I’m thinking the two enns have different purposes?

My understanding is itz rel itz rel Azazel is a chant to Azazel from the Book of Azazel, I also frequently see it in invocations for Azazel.

Eya On Ca Azazel Aken is the traditional enn. I haven’t done that one much but I was combining the itz rel chant with Natz Fehr Ata Infernum Nergra (chant to awaken the black flame) a few nights ago. His energy is…intense.

One is his enn and one is his song.

The enn comes from the practice of demonolatry but, as @WorldFuneral said, in the Book of Azazel, the demon gave EA the song to call him for the Lake of Fire Ritual (also known as the Gatekeeper Ritual):

"September 15, 2007: Evoked Azazel to full physical materialization.

Azazel: Itz Rel Itz Rel Azazel. This is the song by
which I can be called."

Thanks. I think that explains things.

To me both work. I haven’t seen or heard him yet, but energy changes for sure. I think it’s not bad idea at all to mix the two when chanting. The enn and the song.

I think the song is meant to be chanted in a sing-song way similar to Gregorian chants, while the enn is vibrated in a way similar to a Hindu mantra.

See NAOS - A Practical Guide to Modern Magick by the ONA for more information on the difference between the two.
