I have invoked michahel after i told lucifer he can leave and i had no problem but i was warned that a history does exist and taking such acions without asking can prove fatal that goes for all the planes and armys. The reasson was i wanted to make my own Banishin ritual and wanted to include michahel in south and lucifer on east. No that i mention it i still havent done it ;( There are some conflicts even among the same sides … just like we humans can’t like everyone same goes to them … i believe as long as they have something in common they work just fine but its smart to ask first especialy if you call them in the same room at the same time. They may even exchange information or better team up for a task .

I’m of a few minds on the classification of spirits and its hard for me to just base this on the simplest Judaism/Christianity/Muslim paradigm. One might say angels are merely messengers of whatever sprits they work with. A hierarchy of spiritual communication experts that work on speed, clarity, messages delivered to the letter. Demons could be looked at the workers with the livings.
Angels - air spirits
demons - earth spirits
Sort of leaves out fire/water though so kind of flawed. If I’m looking at the oriental structure for the celestial bureaucracy there are similarities to Christianity but I keep thinking of stories like the monkey king.
Are they one in the same being spirits? Are they assigned jobs or worked out a niche in existence or did a group rebel against some ALL-SPARK? I can ask the spirits and hope for truth but maybe that doesn’t matter either. If one is a living eternal creator then you’re going to construct your path and destination based no what you know and what you want. Maybe you HATE angels and anything like that so it’d be a big NO. Maybe you hate demons. Maybe you want to be like some spiritual federation envoy and bring all sides together into harmony or maybe you’re a dictator forcing them.
Are we as individuals ABOVE ALL spirits and can control and tell them what to do and where to be placed? Or its more complex? You can go by other men/women’s works and accept that or find out through experience. And can you trust the words of spirits in the end?
I would suggest that you be clear, like state to the angels what you want from them along with the demons, worship the angels as both Good and Evil, and merge them into one pantheon. Create mantras venerating them as one kingdom. Thats kinda what i do

Just dont get on the bad side of an Angel after invoking them as evil.
I think that you’re right that both archangels and Lucifer can be summoned into your life without a conflict, and that it’s best to summon them in separate rituals.
I’ve combined or “blended” together magick with many different types of spirits, and so long as you are working towards generally the same goal for a bit this can work well. It’s like they can each help you, but in different ways.
I think its best to call the spirits separately in their own rituals, not necessarily because the energies wouldn’t mix, but because cultivating each of them separately will give your magick much more focus.
And @anon48079295 and @bingohandjob, I’ve never had a spirit lie to me before. I’ve had spirits point out to me when I was lying to myself (which is more common than you may expect), but they have always spoken the truth to me, especially demons. That’s one thing that I like about them - they don’t hold back.

That’s fine, I didn’t say they lie all the time, more than they are capable of lying and will lie. Humans are by far from the only beings that will lie to you won’t be the first nor will they be the last. There’s just a odd naivety some have around these beings that they will never lie and I do believe they don’t need to lie to manipulate the gullible but not every energy worker or magician is.

I was reading on the GOM page and they had said they found they get the most mileage out of demons using angels. Like to constrain and command them.
Have you found this to be the case?
Or are you comfortable commanding demons under your own authority without demons.
I command demons under my own authority generally. While I have the GOM books, and Henry Archer’s, I haven’t used their method of angels guiding the demons in any significant way. I made a halfhearted attempt with Archer’s method, but it didn’t work. My intention wasn’t really into it.
However, my understanding is that the angels don’t constrain the demon in the Gallery method, they simply act as their manager, so to speak. They set the scaffolding, and the demons do the filling in of the details.
