You certainly can. I created a very effective talisman with the 4th Pentacle of Venus, I consecrated it, using the Baal Kamon consecration method added a drop of honey and some cinnamon, folded it carefully into a small square and wrapped it up in some pink silk thread. The presiding angels of the pentacle made themselves known and I made my request directly to them.
