Sure, it would be considered a petition. You would not necessarily need to invoke the spirit to do this, but you can. When I used petition spells, I would mediate on the sigil with the request, call out to the spirit, state the request, and burn it afterwards. It would be wise to include some sort of time frame (such as the date of the interview) within the request if it is time sensitive
