Bruce Lee Speed Magic

My goal is being able to move like Bruce Lee with blinding speed and cat-like reflexes watch how he just explodes a side kick from standing still

here is a longer video that goes more indepth about Lee’s Jeet Kune Do technique

Didn’t you tell telgega this exact thing?

Yeah but he didn’t really answer my question so I decided to make this a Topic.

He did he told you how to do it I thought. Unless you don’t want to put in the work that Bruce put in

Well I’ve came to a conclusion that Lee’s power came from Energy Work I mean just watch the first video and you’ll see how he just exploded with a side kick from a standing position his moves were a lot faster than he portayed in his films mainly cause the director in the original green hornet series asked Bruce to slow down so the cameras could pick up his moves. Also to add Lee asked to not be filmed for demonstation in the videos above that were shot with a hidden super 8 mm my grandfather told me about meeting Bruce Lee and he demonstrated his non telegraphed punch in which he would ask you to raise your guard up to block his punch and he told me how blindingly fast he could move which has me convinced Bruce Lee’s Power came from some form of Chi Gong Energy Work because who else in the UFC can Punch and Kick so Blindingly Fast and Powerful you catch my drift I was looking for maybe some advice on Energy Work to cultivate Chi to be faster, stronger, more agile, etc.

Become/study Shaolin monks they do that incredibly well

You’re not gonna like this, but 99% of his speed came from one inexhaustible source:

P
R
A
C
T
I
C
E

I will grant you, yes, he also used limited energy work and focus work, but MOST of it was practice

You raise an interesting topic, though. Of course, personal potential is an individual factor, but how do our minds actually synch to our bodies, and is this a matter of predominant spirituality or psychology? For way of comparison, was Schwartzeneggar’s “mind-muscle connection” more of a psychological phenomenon, or was it actually more spiritual in nature? I think this translates to Bruce Lee, but I use that example because I only have experience in strength training…

See you understand what I was getting at here I hope more people will come and give their piece of minds so we can get a good topic going. Just look at the first video above i posted and watch how towards the end Bruce Lee is just standing still and then he just explodes with a sidekick he was said to be the fastest moving human being alive he developed to much speed in his punches and kicks and everbody will say it all comes down to his insane work ethic which they are right but the thing is where did Lee get all his limitless energy that allowed him to work so hard come from? I’ve looked at all the interviews with his close friends describing just how fast he was and his feats of strength the most well known being his one inch punch, unstoppable punch, 2 finger pushups etc.

My family are all martial artists, and my brother is perhaps the fastest and most energetic of us. He can move that fast, but due to his cerebral palsy, he only moves that fast and that precisely with his hands. The principle is still the same, though. Practice and focus.

I will also say from a physics and kinesiology standpoint, if you try to artificially accelerate your movements, you will pay for it in broken bones and blown joints. The purpose of the practice and training is to strengthen the physical shell to withstand the energy put into the movement. If some random person with no experience was suddenly given the ABILITY to kick that hard that fast, without the CONDITIONING to go with it, the video would show a broken leg just from the angular forces on the hip and knee, not to mention the broken foot from impacting the target.

Bruce Lee had a strick training regime. He did use qi energy in his art. But he also ingagrd in serious physical and mental exercises. That’s where I started

Seriously look up a book Bruce’s Lee’s train method
