So if I set this up on my existing altar table but ensure any prayers and offerings go to the spirits of the ancestors there will be no problem? And I don’t need a white table cloth?
If you set it up on a table that was used for a prior altar I would recommend you do a serious cleaning of the entire altar, including washing it, potencially with florida water or another powerful limpia and then smudge it with sage afterward and then set it up with your white cloth.
Like I said next to is fine but occupying the same exact space can cause issues. For example I wouldn’t ever put an entity from the Goetia on my Boveda.
I keep a separate space for all my Goetia conjurations.
